Championing independent journalism!

After 15 years battling in London news fields as a correspondent, it was time to say goodbye to my colleagues and friends in London Frontline Club.

Frontline is home to a community of writers, photographers, diplomats and aid workers united by their passion for independent journalism. What would have been a more suitable place to bid my farewells?

My farewell column was published on the London Finnish Embassy site. Unfortunately it is in Finnish, but it tells some highlights of my London career including meeting with Osama bin Laden’s brother and partying with Prime Minister Tony Blair.
